Bijna anderhalf jaar lang hebben we als team van hosts met veel plezier aan “Make a moo” gewerkt. Maar….we hebben het te druk, er zijn zoveel challengeblogs, de wekelijkse deelname is zo ver terug gelopen de laatste 2 maanden. We hebben daarom besloten te stoppen. Het blog zal wel blijven bestaan en alle oude berichten zijn dus terug te lezen. Wie weet komt er een moment dat we verder willen?! Iedereen heel erg bedankt voor het meedoen en de enthousiaste reacties op de voorbeeldmoos die we steeds gemaakt hebben. We ontmoeten elkaar ongetwijfeld ergens anders op internet.
Almost a year and a half we hosted “Make a moo” very much to our own pleasure. But…we are very busy, there are so many challengeblogs, the weekly number of participants is getting lower over the last 2 months. That’s why we decided to stop. The blog will remain on the internet so old message can be read. Who knows there comes a moment we want to restart again?! We thank all the regular participants for joining in and their enthousiastic responses to the examplemoos we made. I’m sure we’ll meet again somewhere on the internet.

I’m so sorry that you are suspending your Moo challenges, but I understand about being busy! I wish I had more time to do the challenges myself. Thank you for providing the wonderful themes each week; this summer I hope to go back and do some of the ones I missed.
I missed a lot of challenges too. Seems a terrific idea to do the missed themes. There’s a bunch of inspiration on this blog.

What a pity! I’m a newbie to rubberstamping, atcs and moos, and I created my own weblog only yesterday in order to be able to participate to a challenge from time to time. I’m very sorry that I won’t be able to contribute to this inspiring moo blog. Anyway; thanks for the inspiration (I have been secretly following this blog for a few weeks now) and good luck with your creative projects!
The Moo is a beautiful, tiny piece of art and you have shown us how to create our own with inspiration and generosity over the past 18 months. It is sad that “A Moo or Two” is closing down but very understandable, and it makes everyone appreciate how much work goes into running such a challenge. Perhaps you will re-open the challenge one day somewhere in the future. Thanks again.

Having read these messages, I think it is a great idea to do the challenges that we have missed… even though we can’t ‘enter’ them on the site, it means we can carry on in our own way. When I think back to the very first Moo I made, just over a year ago, I realise how pathetic it was compared to my more recent work!! And this is a direct result of all the inspiration I have gained from this blog and all of the participants – so a big thank you to all of you.
I will miss you!
I read this with sadness, as this is one of the few challenges that I look forward to each week. I’ve cut back my own challenge participation, but moos were on my list of ‘must do’.
I understand where you’re coming from though.
And having tried in vain to get a skinny challenge blog going several months back, and having to come up with challenge themes each week, I do know how difficult and stressful it can all be.
There are a lot of art challenge blogs out there, but this is one of the best imo. I do hope that it will be back again some time in the future. Maybe someone else will consider taking over eventually…..

Having only recently come to contribute here, and got used to the size, I shall miss this weekly challenge. Thank you for all the work you’ve put in to making it so enjoyable. Thanks too to the ladies who contribute, and who’ve been so inspiring.
nellie, im very sorry to see you go. i loved doing this challenge. i know exactly what you mean regarding time etc. it takes a lot of work to run a challenge site and thankfully donna and i do it together, and we usually have a lot of brainstorming about themes etc.

Nellie, you’ve done a grand job with the moo challenge site. I’m sure many people came to know what a moo was through this blog. I’ve enjoyed all the challenges I was able to participate in — and always found great inspiration from your samples.
